In the previous post we discussed about the importance of backlinks and why it is crucial to be listed on the first page of any search engine. At this moment in time I am not talking about being number 1 on Google search engine but just being displayed on the first page.

Here is a common scenario that you would normally come across. Let’s say an internet user decides to search on the following terms such as awek comel, awek gersang, awek cun or even awek comel bogel how would search engine know which blogs are relevant? I mean I could stuff my blogs with this keywords, create hundreds of post with just these keywords stuff into them, but will this make my blog appear on google search engine?

The answer is no. As mention in the previous post, backlinks are the one that will propel your blog into page 1 of the search result. We’ll save that for a latest post. You must be wondering why is it so important to get on the first page. If you want to make money, you must get to the first page. Everyone knows that traffic is the key to making money. Yes, without people visiting your blog, it’s just basically a website on the internet, which no one knows about. You can even consider a blog as a business. If no one knows about your business, will you even get to sell anything? Its as simple as that.

Everyone talks about social bookmarking traffic, but in my honest opinion, nothing beats organic traffic. Organic traffic wins hands down. No argument about that. That is why it’s been a cray race by website owners to get enough quality backlinks to ensure that their blog is relevant to their niche. Writing a post is easy, but getting links to your blog is one of the hardest step in blogging, unless your blog main reader and only reader is yourself.

Once you get the traffic, you can start to think about how you would make money from it all. Yes that is correct, the first time of making money with a blog is get the traffic, and then only think about how to monetize it.

If you notice on this blog, at this moment in time there are no advertisement what so ever. I am not concern about making money at the moment. All i want to do is get my blog on the first page of google when some internet user searches for the term awek comel. That is my goal and wish me all the best.
